The Mead Hall

Welcome, weary Traveler.

Inspired both by Casper's roots and intense nerdery, he has made a very large space open to friends and strangers alike. Boasting food, bedrooms, a place to socialize, train, and take care of other needs, Casper has turned his personal space into a space for everyone.

Entrance

The door itself is a heavy piece of dark wood with metal bands, similar to this. The door itself is almost always propped open, leading into the first room which is the main 'hall' area, similar to this in structure.

Despite being made of stone and wood, the area is connected to the kitchen via a passthrough. The space is also large, and can be converted to a wooden floor if need be. The ceilings are high, allowing the space to not feel cramped.

Signs direct visitors to the other areas.

Kitchen

The kitchen continues the wood theme, but is pretty modern. The cabinets and refrigerator have enough food to server a decent amount of people, though there's not a lot of fancy ingredients unless someone requests some. There's also a coffeemaker and tea kettle in the cabinet, in case someone needs it.

The kitchen has a passthrough to allow easy serving to the hall itself.

Bedrooms

The first hallway off of the hall connects to the permanent and personal bedrooms, including those of Casper and Phillip. There are a few others who either have their rooms in the hall or connect their rooms to it. There's also a basic bathroom with a shower and tub.

Second Hallway

Training Room

The training room is floored with dark red wood, though there are mats that can be put down to soften the ground. There are also training dummies as well as archery targets for those who want to practice more dangerous arts.

There is also a fully stocked first aid kit marked prominently in the corner in case of injury.

Healing Area

Right next to the Training Room is a room stocked with more first aid kits, as well as a few cots and a decently big sink with towels so injuries can be cleaned. This room tends to be kept quiet, and the lights can be dimmed so as to allow anyone who needs it some rest.

Lounge

This room contains a number of couches, along with a TV that has a number of DVDs next to it. There's a CD player as well that can get decently loud. The room is big enough to accommodate about twenty people if they squeeze in a bit, or around ten more comfortably.

There is also a pile of pillows in the closet, perfectly positioned for pillow fights.

Shrine

This room tends to be kept dark, with a few short pews and chairs sitting in front of a table. The table has some votive candles of various colors, along with some matches in the small cabinet.

A sign hangs behind the candles, asking visitors to please blow out the candles once they're done with the room.

Spare Bedrooms

Near the end of the hall, a few plainly decorated bedrooms sit, in case of visitors.
