His face is being held, so he takes the completely reasonable track of response to that statement and interrupts it by leaning in to kiss Casper. He keeps it brief and chaste, but entirely sufficient to break that train of logic. "Why would I object to either helping you or to-- seeing more of you? And I don't want any bits of anything left in any part of you, to get infected or whatever."
